If this pair of plane-crashin', Rape Kit chargin', bottom of their class graduatin', actin' like Alaska is a microcosm for the USA when in reality it is perhaps one of the states least like the other 49 in many key respects, not havin' the balls to even look their black opponent in the eye when crackin' on him (even after being directly asked to), thinkin' the earth is 6,000 years old, not able to remember how many giant-ass houses, ranches and luxury condos they own, attempted library-censorin', COMPLETELY UNINSPIRIN', usin' their POW status as a cover for treatin' fellow Veterans and their families like dogshit, suckin' up to the very same intolerant fundamentalist Christian assholes they hate -- as long as it'll win 'em votes, forcin' raped women and incest victims to carry those babies to term, believin' that dinosaurs walked the earth only a few thousand years ago, bein' an actual torture victim and constantly talkin' about how you stood up to GWB on torture when you actually caved in and VOTED TO ALLOW OUR GOVERNMENT TO USE SOME OF THE SAME ILLEGAL AND HORRIBLE PRACTICES YOU SUFFERED ON THOSE WE HAVE CAPTURED, laughin' and pokin' fun at good folks all over the country who volunteer their valuable time to be community organizers and activists, code-word usin' racists tryin' their hardest to scare rural folks and the elderly into actually bein' afraid of a smart, dignified, well-traveled, Harvard Law School lecturin', devoted husband and father who just happens to be black, corrupt and divisive Bush administration scumbag hirin', inappropriately smilin' when you should be somber, sayin' this sick-makin' war for oil is "a mission from God" that the USA is destined to fight and "win," constantly jokin' and laughin' in public about bombin' and killin' innocent residents of foreign countries, end-times apocalypse believin' nutjobs who don't care if they bring about or speed up the end of the world since they think they're on their way to eternal happiness (and fuck anyone else who didn't head their warnin' and get right with Jesus), computer-illiterate, homo-hatin', private e-mail account usin' (so as to keep investigators from findin' out your shady government business deals), not keepin' up with current events or the news, thinkin' that committed gay couples shouldn't be allowed to adopt kids while milions of orphans languish in group homes, laughin' stocks of virtually all other world leaders actually get elected, it will prove beyond a shadow of a doubt that the USA is hopelessly filled with and sadly run by dim-witted, shallow, pathetic, led around by the nose shitheads.

Here's the deal, folks: Unless it is a LANDSLIDE for the Democratic ticket, electronic voter fraud will swing this election for these two dangerous, desperate idealogues - one who is hellbent on just being able to say he finally made it to President before he croaks, and another who should have turned down the job offer, but who's so delusional and egomaniacal that she would rather put the safety of an entire nation in jeopardy than admit that someone of her credentials and life experience has no business applying for a position even three jobs below the one she's asking you to simply GIVE her.

McCain WILL die, become incapacitated, or WILLINGLY STEP DOWN during his tenure.

Palin WILL become President of these United States.

The Supreme Court WILL be irrevocably altered to become a RUBBER-STAMP ARM of the EXTREME RIGHT WING.

It matters not what party you prefer.

This goes beyond parties.

Such a result would easily be the single worst outcome of its sort in most of our lifetimes. FAR WORSE than GWB's presidency, if you can imagine such a thing.

Please spare me the whole "I'm gonna sit this one out because they're all the same" bit, or the whole "I'm voting for Nader/Barr/McKinney/who the fuck ever" because that'll make some sort of difference, or "show them."

EVERYONE owes it to this country to block this blatant power grab/setup by the fringe far-right of U.S. politics by voting for OBAMA/BIDEN.

Nobody's perfect, and that team is has their faults. In some respects, they are entrenched in Washington politics as well.

But there is a qualitative difference - especially among how that pair is being perceived across the globe - that DEMANDS they be given a shot to turn our country around from the brink of religious fanaticism and war-mongering isolationism that could destroy the very fabric of the USA as we now know it.

If you're drowning, and a strong man throws you a rope, what differences does it make what color his skin is, or how long you've known him?

OUR COUNTRY IS DROWNING.

OBAMA IS THAT STRONG MAN.

History will surely judge which side each and every one of us in this country came down on in this election.

Without a massive uprising of those who value nuance, thoughtful consideration, education, love of your fellow man (no matter what they look like or what religious or social beliefs they may have in common with you) and a sense of shared responsibility, this election day WILL go to the forces of fear, stupidity, blind faith and death.
