Personal Stories

In keeping with the Union Review mission of creating a forum for both rank-and-file and non-union workers where they can openly speak out about their work, struggles, and ideas in an effort to build a stronger union movement -- we decided to build this Personal Stories page. People can feel free to post what they want about their own story remaining as anonymous as they need or want to -- it is about sharing.

Tent Living During the Depression

Along the railroad tracks and nearby Route 10, trucks and trains carry goods from the ports of LA County, the busiest ports in the nation. But these people, with virtually nothing, can only watch as America's trinkets pass them by.
