What would you like the Union Review community to know about you?

I am an employee of the University of Oregon, and I sit on the Board of Directors for SEIU 503. I am intensively involved in the effort to gather enough signatures to qualify for the recall of the president of our union, Joe DiNicola.  The gussied up recycled monkey with purple satin britches is Sniffer.  So named because of the dog tag that appears on his fancy pirate necklace (apparently some poor little long gone dog by that name...)  Anyhow, Sniffer is wearing a Joe Must Go button, in case you cannot read it.  He is the mascot for the Midvalley Recall Squad, and he is one of my creations.  A prior monkey with similar embellishments was raffled off at a recall fund raiser we held last year, but one of the squad members was so sad to not win that monkey, I figured another monkey with purple satin britches was in order.  Now Sniffer lives at two different houses, as there is a joint custody arrangement.  So you see, we must have some fun with this effort to inform the members about our self serving president and seek his removal from office.  And these monkeys help us to smile in spite of our anger.  Sniffer is pictured here, tucked into a hot pink bag, enroute to Salem via Amtrak, just prior to his adoption.
